Previously, he served as Initiative Coordinator for the Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT. Prior to that he was Vice President and P&L leader for IDX Systems. He led the Direct Project Communications Work Group. He was a charter member of the interoperability group for the Certification Commission for Healthcare Information Technology (CCHIT). He has presented at numerous conferences, including HIMSS, IOM and MIT Future of Health Technology.
