HIT Standards Committee Named

On May 8, HHS named the representatives to the HIT Standards Committee. Their first meeting will be May 15. The HIT Standards Committee is responsible "to the National Coordinator on standards, implementation specifications, and certification criteria for the electronic exchange and use of health information." Federal agency representatives will be named later. Newly appointed members include:
