Prior to that he served as Vice President, Strategic Initiatives for a leading vendor in the healthcare technology space, serving physician groups, hospitals and delivery networks. Previously he was Vice President and P&L leader for IDX Systems. He leads the Direct Project Communications Work Group. He was a charter member of the interoperability group for the Certification Commission for Healthcare Information Technology (CCHIT). He has presented at numerous conferences, including HIMSS, IOM and MIT Future of Health Technology.
